Top 20 Rupaul's Drag Queens
It is most probable that Rupaul's Drag Race has shocked the Reality TV Shows world in more ways that are worth mentioning, but one fact is without a doubt: it has brought to our attention some memorable characters, that have left a strong mark on the drag environment and rose our drag standards and expectations like never before.
Based on their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent, here are my top picks for the best queens in Rupaul's drag race (Seasons 1-9).

This tiny Korean-American queen has managed to conquer us all with her hilarious lines, acting talent, clumsiness and extremely original drag style. She is simply adorable and has displayed a great deal of talent and uniqueness throughout the show.

Apart from her great traits of character that have made her the one to watch throughout season 4, Latrice has also proven to be amazingly skilled at the acting challenges and kept us all rolling on the floor with laughter every time she performed. Furthermore, she represented the big girls with great class and style.

Having won the first snatch game in the drag race history was not enough for her. She returned to All Stars 2 and gave us all a great display of talent, amazing performances, stunning runways and a memorable lip-sync that has already topped some of the best ones we have seen so far.

Whist Bob's appearance is not one of the most remarkable in drag race, this queen has rightfully earned the crown by completely slaying the competition. Bob's performances on most challenges were top notch, and she always left us craving for the next episode. With great charisma and hilarious lines, Bob went all the way to the top and snatched the so well deserved crown.

Jujubee or, in other words, sweetness impersonated. It's impossible not to love this adorable queen. Her innocence, cuteness and huge talent made us all cry for more in both seasons where we got to watch her. Amazing drag style, remarkable kindness and collegiality, and a friendship which went down in drag history.

Shea came into the competition like a hurricane and kept slaying all the way to the end. From the first challenge to the last lip-sync, Shea has proven to the world her uniqueness and amazing talent in all areas of drag. Unfortunately, there was only one crown to be offered, but that doesn't make Shea any less of a winner for us. Shea wins at drag.

She has been told for a whole season to stop relying on that body. But then again, why wouldn't she? Courtney has owned the runway and gave us some of the most memorable outfits and presentations in the whole drag race history. Apart from that, she conquered us with her irresistible charisma, wit and the great skill in performing the challenges.
D to the E to the T to the O to the...hold it! X - or as she self-describes herself on Intstagram - the most killingest crossdresser on the planet. And indeed, Detox left us gagging every time she showed up on the runway, in the both seasons she took part in. Apart from that, Detox's unique style of owning every challenge and that killer performance in All Stars 2 are just very few of the reasons to fall in love with this queen and really wish that Ru' would grant more than one crown per season.

She lost the crown twice but won our hearts a thousand times. Raven displayed a wonderful character throughout both season she participated in, and was, for good reasons, an all time fan favourite. We love her style, we love her drag, we love her humour. And on top of it all, she was always there for the other queens, a trait that not many others had demonstrated. Her success post-drag race only comes to prove how wonderful Raven really is.

A dashing and hilarious appearance. Her lip-syncs made history and her class and originality on the runway were really difficult to top even by the strong competitors of the season. Manila brought in Season 3 a plus of originality and uniqueness and we all adored seeing her performances.

We knew from early Season 4 that Chad is a winner. This queen has proven a level of professionalism, maturity and solidarity that made us all love her from day one. Not only did Chad excel at challenges, but she also stunned us every time she hit the runway. Chad Michaels has been a delight for the eyes and she touched our souls countless times throughout the competition.

#justiceforkatya or Rupaul-should-really-crown-more-winners. Katya slayed the whole All Stars 2 season, from the first challenge to the final lip-sync. She played with our minds and amazed us with her skills and unique personality. Gorgeous, hilarious, kind and extremely talented, Katya made us question Ru's decision times and times again. She might have not won All Stars, but she won our hearts.

One of the funniest, smartest and fun to watch queens of all times. Not only does she look great, but she proved countless times to have a great character. She might not have the best sense of fashion, which brought her downfall in the race, but she does have high class and an amazing personality. Her success post-drag race is well-deserved.

If you want fish served on a platter, then Violet is the answer. This queen has redefined the concept of a fashion queen and has killed the runway every time she stepped on it. Up to this point, her Season 8 reunion look is still considered the best in drag race history. Furthermore, Violet had a truly remarkable development and growth throughout her season and left us all gagging at the end, when she snatched the well-deserved crown.

Jinkx, the complete weirdo who made us all fall in love with her. This crazy queen has owned each challenge week after week, including the lip-sync for the one time she got in the bottom. Trained in musical theatre, Jinkx proved to the world that appearance only does not stand a chance to real talent and skill. Funny, cute, and often very awkward, Jinkx fully earned her spot as a drag race superstar.

Sasha, because we love brains. This queen has amazed Rupaul's audience by her smarts and by knowing how to always use it in her favour. From creating amazing outfits and presentations to performing a full humorous act, Sasha has constantly owned the show, leaving us wanting to see more of her each and every week. This queen is truly one of kind, the complete charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent package.

Raja, the queen who practically invented the concept of fashion queen, showing us throughout Season 3 something we have never seen before. She completely killed the runway with each and every appearance, amazing us with her impeccable looks and perfect execution. Raja's creativity and the complexity of her outfits have gone down in the race's history, making her the most iconic fashion queen on the show.

Alaska had a slow start and a shy performance in Season 5, but then in All Stars 2, she came to slay. From the first reading challenge and talent show and all the way to the final lip-sync, Alaska perfectly delivered her each and every act and rightfully earned the crown. Her style is truly unique, funny, sarcastic and often weird, and the result is spectacular. Alaska has matured and developed a lot during the competition and her success outside drag race comes only to prove that what she has become is what we were all waiting for.

Sharon left us gagging from her first runway look and up until the very last challenge. Her spooky and crazy style made her unforgettable both in terms of appearance, as well as in terms of performances. Sharon is very smart, unique, and the only queen who has managed to win four challenges and also the whole competition. A truly one of a kind queen, who has no equal in the world of drag.

Bianca is the one queen who we all hope will get to take Rupaul's legacy one day and carry on with the drag race. There was no other queen in all the 9 seasons as delightfully sarcastic and critical, but at the same time so helpful and friendly with the other queens. Her immense talent in executing outfits came through for each and every runway theme, where she made us adore her, whilst keeping true to her personal drag style. Very funny and extremely talented, not only did she bring out the best of herself, but she also brought out the best in the others. A queen who managed to achieve a great success even after the race and who truly deserves to be the queen of all queens.
